It is rare to have four of the top young cellists in the world join one section of an orchestra all within the span of one year — and even more remarkable for these players who represent the finest individual talent to then combine forces in this special combination. Having heard this wonderful ensemble, it is clear that the Pittsburgh Cello Quartet is poised to have a great impact through their distinguished musicianship and creative programming.
